Dress casual formal like jeans and a nice top, or skirts and boots (only if it's somewhat cold where you live, if it's hot don't wear boots obviously) be yourself, flirt a little bit to show interest, try to keep the conversation going by asking him questions about himself. A great date is anything that you two would enjoy doing, if things are going well hold his hand or play footsie.Date tips?

Nervous before first date.....tips?

I'm currently in college right now. This girl and I have been good friends since November, and I've suspected multiple times that she's wanted me to ask her out. At the time, I didn't have any interest.





Not to sound like a jerk.....but I'm one of those guys whose usually confident, laid back, and doesn't care what people think. I think that's one of the reasons my friend *might* be attracted to me......however, I've developed feelings for her and asked her out on a date. She accepted, but admitted this will be awkward as hell, considering we're in all of the same classes until graduation.





I know her pretty well. But for some reason, ever since I developed feelings for her my confidence around her has gone to nothing. I'm wondering how to overcome this? It has never been a problem before. What's going onNervous before first date.....tips?

I think your problem is that you feel that you let your guard down by developing feelings for this girl.That's why you are not confident. Tell yourself this. I know this girl and I know she is good. If there is anyone i can trust intimately, it is her. You have to start somewhere and it might as well be her. You are still young and even if you do make mistakes there is still a lot of time left to do right. Have confidence and let yourself go, everything will slowly come to you.
First know that you going to mess up a little and that no matter what happens that you going to get though it and after you going to be alive. all you have to do is do kind thing, even if awkward. At the very least show that your trying. If you know this going into a data you will feel better and think that you'll have a good time. But don't try to be anyone but your self. You'll find whoever God wants you to and weather this is lady is her or not.

Ok, wow only in seventh grade and are already going on dates? haha, wel, I am in 8th grade, and I did go to the movies with pretty hot guys...., all you have to do is just act natural. Don't act too excited that she said that she would go with you because then she might think that you are a freak. Be really sweet to her, and add some humor when you talk to her. Girls love to laugh, and personally, I love it when guys make jokes. Sometimes, you don't even have to pull a joke, just be yourself and she will think that you are the cutest guy eva! AAWKWARD do you even know if the guy is cute? must be weird going on a date immediately with someone youve never met... I just wouldnt roll with that. First Date Tips anyone?

Ok so here's the thing, I am going out with this girl I have known for years for the first time and I don't know if it is going anywhere or not. I've been on dates before and whatnot but I want to do something nice for her. I don't want to make it seem desperate or over the top but I just want to know if you guys have any tips.

First, relax. Define what you mean by a date. Some people think date = sex, romance, etc. when it is really about spending time together to get to know each other and communicate and see if there is a potential to go for a second, third, tenth, one hundredth date.





Second, be yourself. You've known each other for a few years so she expects to be with the real you. With that in mind, try for activities where you can communicate. Not just dinner and a movie. This is about as old as the moon and twice as dusty. How about bowling? A play, first, then a dinner where you can talk about the play and what you both thought of it? Anything where you can communicate.





Third, if you really like her, then how about a small bouquet of flowers? Pink or red works best. Get some for her for your first date. This will make a good impression if you are trying for a romantic gesture.

if you've known her for years then you must have some inside joke or some activity that you both enjoy doing. my first ';date'; was going on a 50 minute run. Whatever gets those romantic juices flowing, you know.

Take her to a nice wine bar. It's casual enough, but romantic at the same time. It also takes some of the pressure off of having to do a formal dinner. Ive taken numerous first dates to places like these and they all turned out great. Good Luck!
