Ask him what he likes girls to wear? How does he like their hair done? What does he like them to talk about? This way you know what to do for next time. If you have a way of finding this stuff out before this date do so, and get it done.
The big thing is you simply do not want to blow it by doing something majorly stupid. So make a point of being very clean. Be agreeable, even if you disagree simply tell him, ';You could be right.'; What you are not saying is that he could be wrong too. Play it safe and do not talk about sex, politics nor religion on the first date.
The big concept and what most American White Girls just do not get is that you want to come across as someone he can partner with no matter what happens.
Laugh at all his jokes... yes, even the stuped ones. Be touchie-feelie with him.
