Sms her instead of a sudden phone call, because she could be busy or inconvinent at that moment.





Don't laugh, don't even smirk, don't sound too happy in your voice - pretend that you have done this dozen of times, you ask girl out everyday.





Have a plan B, C and D. What if she doesn't like the place you suggest, or can't make it on that particular date. Think of transport, notify her what to wear if there's a dress code (it's better if you yourself is overdress than underdress on the first date.)





Think up a few topics (recent news etc) but don't expect that she will contribute much in the conversation. You can even look up a few jokes or funny stories to tell her, but never sexist of course.





What I am most flattered is when a guy go for a haircut just for meeting me. If your hair need some trimming, go for an inexpensive haircut, then tell her that you've done it for her.
