Going on my first real date soon. Any tips?

Ok well technically second, but to me watching Twilight Zones at my house after trick-or-treating failure is not really a date.

We're pretty close to being best friends, and we ALWAYS have something to say to each other. But in my present state (not exactly calm) I think i would draw a blank. Any tips or comments?

(btw, i have been praying for the moment that i could say 'my first date is in an hour' for years now, so i'm pretty excited)

ps, it is my first real relationship and his second.Going on my first real date soon. Any tips?
Have fun!

Just be yourself. You will relax once you are out. Remember, he is feeling nevous too, so just converse as if you were at your house.

If you are already friends, you have plenty to talk about, but don't feel like every minute has to be filled with conversation.Going on my first real date soon. Any tips?
Just have fun and dont dress up to impress, this can scare guys away sometimes. Relax and be comfortable, trust your gut and dont do anything you dont feel comfortable doing ;)

Well if you have plenty of things to talk about then that is GREAT because hopefully that means no awkward silences :) Just try not to be nervous (I know it's hard, but it will be better if you don't!), relax, and have fun!
You need to be yourself...have fun as you always do with this person.
