Well, cleaning your teeth really is a good idea. Look groomed, like you tried to look your best for her. Act friendly. Don't be standoffish or hard-to-get, because once we're going on a date with you, we just want you to be nice. In fact, most girls just want you to be nice all of the time. Treat her if you can, hold open the door for her, and say 'bless you' if she sneezes. Be yourself do not change personality if you run into some friends. If you run into people she does not know introduce her. Excuse yourself if you need to go to the restroom do not say I will be right back I have to take a piss/dump. Cell phones suck on dates most people act like they will die if not talking or texting. Do not stare or stop and talk to other girls. If you really like this girl stay totally focused on her. I have seen kids out on dates these days it is crude and rude. The guy lets the door shut on the girl they cuss,belch,and fart maybe it is what goes on now and maybe it is acceptable but to me it is a matter of no class. Not an old geezer I am just a guy who likes to treat a girl like a lady.
just be yourself. be a gentleman and don't forget your manners. girls hate when guys act different than they normally would just because of the change of scene.
i would for sure say be well groomed and use your manners but most of all be yourself i totally agree that girls hate it when you are not yourself around them. i am also a hs girl and my biggest turn off is when a guy is not himself on a date and when he plays hard to get because then it makes a girl wonder what you are their for. also confidence is a big turn on act sure of yourself even if you are scared i hate when a guy is scared and their is aquard silences. but silence is ok but remember that everytime thier is silence a thousand things will be going through her head. also maybe bring her flowers? i found it even more special when a guy brought me my favorite flowers so be sure to ask her. dont be shy the days leading up to the date either try to get to know her better so things will be easier when you go out
