I finally built up the courage to ask my Best-Friend (We've been best friends for about a year now...) out on a date. She said yes, and I'm super excited. Just want to know if anybody else has been in this situation or has any advice.

I have been in this situation (dating a close friend), and it can be really awkward. The main thing I would say is just do whatever you can to make her feel comfortable--first and foremost by being comfortable yourself. That will make all the difference. Just don't have any expectations or goals other than to have a good time hanging out. Beyond that, just live in the moment and see what happens.First Date with Best Friend...Any tips or ideas? It'd be awkward if you did anything kinda like that on your first date, but i guess if she makes the first move, then do what you gotta do haha!
