If you're close to 17 and the movie doesnt have anything like ';scenes of drug use or and gang warfare'; or ';nudity and strong sexual content'; odds are they won't check your ID. If you don't think they will let you in, just buy tickets to a different movie but walk in the one you want to see. Be sure you walk in after the lights go out and sit in the back.
