Any tips for a movie date?

I'm 14 and tomorrow me and my girlfriend are going to the movies together.


We are both shy.


We've only been going out 4 days.





Should I buy us some popcorn to share?





Should i just hold her hand or ask? I know asking seems stupid, but she means a lot to me, and i don't want to screw anything up.





Also some other friends will be sitting with us.Any tips for a movie date?
Sure, lock fingers (always cute, but I wouldn't ask if I were you, surprise her) and share the popcorn.

Definitely pull the whole ' Yawn and Put Your Arm Around Her' thing, if you exaggerate it and make it into a joke it will be a great way to break the ice.





Just chill and just stop thinking about how awkward things might be.

Well, if friends are there, it should be easier because there isn't that 'omg, im alone with her/him... what should I do!'; O_O.. kinda thing.





You should ask her if she wants popcorn/drink and if she does, certainly buy it for you guys to share. It's a movie date, its not going to be too hard because you'll be watching the movie most of the time (assuming because you are both shy and won't be kissing like mad yet?) haha.





- About that 'holding her hand' thing, I wouldn't ask her, what you would want to do is slowly hold her hand after the movie has played for a little bit-- yes, wait until you're a few minutes into the movie so you can slideeee your way in.





K, you probably won't need to think this much. Basically, just relax, and dont think. Just do. you're still young and you are bound to make some mistakes ;P

I think its sweet that she means this much to you already.


Asking if it's ok to hold her hand is very gentlemanly, it shows her that you respect her and her boundaries. My husband asked if he could hold my hand, and I loved it!


You could ask her if she would like to share some popcorn, that allows you to share with her on her terms. =D


Be a gentleman, open doors for her, stand behind a chair %26amp; pull it out for her, let her go first into the isle to sit down.

you should buy some popcorn to share and don't ask to hold her hand find it in you to just do it even though you guys are both shy she will like to see that side of you that is daring enough to take the first step and your friends will think your extra cool to make the first move rather than her if she feels uncomfortable and pulls away shes just scared dont take it seriously shes just as nervous as you are and is probably asking the same questions. hope that helped have a fun date
friends are good the first few dates but then the girl probaby wont want it to be public so then go alone. but the girl probably wont tell you that so just do it. also dont ask just do it and hug the first date or 2. then once yall are really comfortable then maybe like 4 or 5 dates after kiss her on the cheak but dont ask and ya buy some food and one drink and get 2 straws that works well because some girls are germ freaks lol hope this helps.

And get a big drink with straws that you can both share! That's super cute. If she gets cold, make sure to give her your coat, the usual stuff. :3

Best thing to do man is be natural. Do the same things you'd do if you were seeing a movie by yourself, or with your family. Be a gentleman, sit next to her, laugh with her, all that good stuff =]. You should hit it off just fine.
Wow tough one, ok umm don't push or rush anything in unless she makes the first move, especially because your a guy (I hope) and we get screwed first and hardest. Be competent but don't scare her.
