I've been on a supervised date, but I want to take it to the next level and go by myself. I haven't got a specific person in mind, but I'm about to go into high school, so my options will evolve. ask them nicely and tell them that you want to go on a unsupervised date. you are lucky to be able to go on one, I couldn't go on a date intill I was 18 grrr. anyway ask your parents now, so when you do find a good boy they would let you, but first you have to let your parents meet your boy, because they need to see if they trust him before they let you go on your own with them. its all about trust and they need to trust you and him. also keep a condom around.I'm a single teen who doesn't date yet, tips to how to ask my rents if I can?
If you are ABOUT to go into high school, that means that you are about 14 years old. My parents told me that I wasn't allowed to date until I was 16. And even then they had to meet the guy, know where we were going, and I had a curfew.


It was only after I was 18 that I no longer had to give a report. I still had to have my parents meet the guy within the first couple of dates.





I say that you will just have to wait it out. No matter how mature you are, I honestly don't think a 14 year old is ready to date on his/her own. There are too many hormones pumping that leads to children having children.
