if you go to the movies, you can't talk and get to know each other very well, which is the WHOLE point of the first date... depending where you are, you could meet at a cute cafe for hot cocoa or coffee to sit and talk, listen to music, then go for a walk or a scenic drive to get moving... anything to keep the conversation going...
You could always go for the classic first date....dinner and movies. Or you can dare to be different and do the dinner and art museum or putt putt golf. You might even try a picnic in the mountains or park and then movies after that. If you have your own place...which if this is a first date you might not, but you can make her dinner and watch a movie at home. Snuggle on the couch. And be sure to shower and wear some nice cologne. Dont be afraid to show yourself of a bit! Good luck!
