hi meeting a girl i have been chatting to for weeks. going to av a first date real soon. just worried it all may go pete tong. any tips out there??First date tips?

just be yourself because if you want to take it further with this girl she needs to like you for who you really are. treat her well and be intrested in what she's saying even if your bored to tears all girls love a great listener but at the same time tell her a bit about your self just drop little things in to conversation and don't drink too much unless she does. i guess you know a bit about each other already. don't let the conversation run dry.

what i mean is ..


talk on the phone!! a lot, as much as you can, that way when date day rolls around, you'll feel a lot more comfortable around each other..


chatting online and text messages aren't a good means of communication, i've met up with girls i've met through myspace, and girls i barely knew, but in my experience when you've had long conversations over the phone the date goes a lot smoother and more comfortably, if you can't have good conversations over the phone, there's no way you can be comfortable in person.

Just take it easy... smile, laugh and have fun with each other.
Be yourself. Take her to a nice restuarant for a romantic meal. That will give you time to chat and get comfortable with each other. Take her to a nice park or garden to take a walk and enjoy nature and eachother. If thats not possible then maybe take her to see a movie. Let her decide on it, but not too obvious. Then afterwards, if you drink, take her to a nice cozy place for a drink that might have an outside balchany or patio. If not, then just stay inside and do what ever feels right, playing pool, dancing, or just sitting there getting to know eachother more. You might even rent a good movie and sit at home and snuggle on the couch while you watch it. Just be open to her, and let her know that its her night.
