Has anyone signed up for one of those text message ';joke';, ';horoscope';, or ';dating tip'; thing??

You know those commercials that say, text 55555 to 4567 to receive daily jokes? I want to know if anyone has ever signed up for them, and if so how much were you charged, how were you charged, and was there any sort of age/name verification in order to officially sign up?

In other words, when you sent the text message to receive your daily dating tip, did anyone contact you to discuss the terms of the contract that you had just entered?Has anyone signed up for one of those text message ';joke';, ';horoscope';, or ';dating tip'; thing??
Absolutely not. They're scams that cost you over a dollar per text message. Further, they needn't contact you after the contract has been entered to explain the contract; rather, they need to be able to provide to you the contract before entering into it.
