I ask this girl this “what type of people you looking to meet on here?” and she said “somebody that likes me for who I am” ok what do I say after this? I always ask that question. I think she should be more specific so you should say something along the lines, okay so who are you and why should I accept you. Tell her to describe herself and ask what are her strengths and weaknesses. I think that term or those words pursay is a quick cop out to avoid the real question you were asking. I also don't think personally that myspace is the place for true romance. Either you are on it for popularity, music, networking or to have a lot of sex.

I know someone who met with a person from myspace. It was disasterous. The person was an dirty old man who just liked teen age girls. He was really mentally ill. He had been corresponding to her for about 7 months. He sounded good (as the old guy was reading things to write from mags and books) but he was a real loser who wanted to hook up with a young girl. His photo (he looked cute) and bio was not real, nothing was real. It was a sick game he played and he got his wish. He met the 17 yr old girl. Lucky for her she got the heck out of there fast and stripped her Myspace site clean.
