Depends how old you are. If you are old enough to drive and are picking her up at the house...make sure you dress neat and you look ok. You may have to meet her parents so be courteous and friendly to them. Tell them where you are taking their daughter and if you are going with friends and if you are driving. Reassure them you are a good driver and will have her home before her curfew..and do that. If you get their trust you are halfway home.
Have the date planned out and either do it with another couple or take her to an event like a dance or a movie where you don't have to talk too much. Don't overstay your welcome by having the date drag on too long. It is better to end it earlier than later. Don't talk too much about yourself..but ask her about herself...her interests, music, school, friends, etc. Tell her if you enjoyed your date and ask her if she would like to go out again...ie..horseback riding...or to the mall etc. Tell her you will call her in a few days. And then call no later than 3 days and no earlier than 2. Don't leave her hanging if you agree to call. Try not to be nervous on the date and think of some things to talk to her about in advance. But don't hog the conversation. Be cool and be yourself.
