First date tips .. [20 characters]?

this week im going to the movies with the guy i really like .. we have been talking for a few days and i know he likes me too :)


we will be going to the mall and seeing a movie too .. any tips ? i know how to talk to him but i honestly hate awkward silences , especially with guys ! can anyone help me with this part ?

make sure you RELAX!


If you are tense etc then you will most likely make things awkward and create a tense vibe, so remember to relax! No point in getting nervous!





You will notice if you remain relaxed, then awkward silences will less likely happen because youse will both feel comfortable to be able to talk to eachother etc. Use small talk if awkward silences do occur, by uding small talk you are creating a foundation for a decent conversation. Build off his replies and use them to help create an actual conversation.





Make sure you also feel confident, so when you get ready.. spray your favourite purfume or use your favourite bodywash etc - it will help give you that little bit of confidence :)First date tips .. [20 characters]?
Before the date, think of some questions you'd like to ask him. They don't have to be too deep, it can be small talk or whatever. You could ask what his favorite band is, favorite t.v. show, best subject in school, whatever. Then when you have an awkward silence, you already have a question to ask.





Smile! :) It makes everything seem less awkward, and makes people like you more and feel more comfortable with you.





Watch your body language. Don't cross your arms over your chest or sit really far away from him or things like that, because it will give off the impression that you are insecure or not comfortable with him.





Be confident. Before you go, think of all the ways that you seriously kick butt, and say them in the mirror, repeat them in your head, make an actual list, whatever. Just remind yourself that you are awesome, and if he doesn't realize it, then he doesn't deserve you!





Yes, as everyone else said- Relax :)
Do not kiss him!!! First date kisses are weird if you need to kiss him make sure its like a ';goodbye'; kiss or a ';peck';. Don't do anything too drastic.


At the movie if it is silent just lean in and lay on his shoulder.


At the mall if it is silent, say ';ooh I love this store!'; Then you can either take him in it or see if he says anything about it!

its a safe bet that you should not ask for the Filet Mignon...if he insist on getting you what ever you want...

Just remember that he is probably just as nervous as you are but he doesn't know that you are.





If it gets to quiet, say something like ';ah, peace and quiet!'; :-))
Just relax! The first moments are the most awkward and weird, but after you relax you begin to forget about the anxiety! Have fun and good luck!
